The generous and delicious food on offer makes dining at the Grand Central a memorable experience every time. From tapas and snacks, to fine dining and fulfilling pub meals, there’s sure to be something to satisfy your hunger.

The hotel has three dedicated dining areas: Fihelly’s Bar, Platform Bar and the Dining Car, with one specially designed menu offered throughout the hotel. Local, seasonal produce is always the first preference for our chefs, and special dining requirements are always catered for.

FIHELLY’S BAR

The always beating heart of Grand Central, Fihelly’s Bar is the main area of the hotel where you can meet your mates, catch up on all the sports action and world events on the big screen, and enjoy a great meal.

Our legendary lunchtime dishes bring in a friendly crowd of workers, locals and visitors six days a week, with specialties including our famous steak sandwich and our renowned range of prime cut steaks.

Open Monday to Saturday from 11.30am - 9pm for all day dining

PLATFORM BAR

You get the best of both worlds at the Platform Bar – the lively atmosphere and the sophistication of a popular city haunt with our fantastic range of ice cold beverages.

Whilst watching the trains go by enjoy a beer and match it with freshly shucked oysters, salt and pepper calamari or traditional bruschetta.

Open for lunch and dinner from 11.30am Monday to Friday.

THE DINING CAR

Step back in time and soak up the atmosphere while you enjoy an intimate sit down meal with friends. This intimate 30 seat room is a delightful testament to train-like ambience and is a great room for private business gatherings and beer and food tasting events.
