FIHELLY’S BAR

Named after Queensland politician and sportsman, John Arthur Fihelly, Fihelly’s Bar is a landmark public bar for city workers and travellers alike. Once the original refreshment rooms for Queensland Rail, the bar forms the centrepiece of one of the ‘great railway hotels of the world’.

Here you’ll get a taste of historic Queensland charm, as well as a taste of the quintessential Australian beverage – an ice cold beer. Try from our range of local, imported and hand crafted beers, or any of our beverages skilfully served from our friendly staff.

The Bar also features the Queensland Rail Train Timetable so you will be sure to catch the next train… or the one after that!

Open seven days from 8am till late for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

PLATFORM BAR

The Platform Bar is adjacent to Fihelly’s, but it will take you to another world. Stunning décor will welcome you into the bar and then you’ll be mesmerised by Brisbane’s best hand crafted beer list. With over 50 different varieties to choose from, it’s possible to spend the whole night just browsing and tasting.

Of course beer isn’t the only drink of offer. The Platform Bar is also known for its cocktails, wines and spirits, and for creating an atmosphere which is especially vibrant on a Friday night.

Open for lunch and dinner from 12 noon to late Monday to Saturday.
