Please note capacities are a guide only, if you have less guests or don't need exclusivity don't be deterred, at the Grand Central Hotel we gladly cater to groups of any size.

Platform Bar
Our main function area. Craft & premium beers on tap, cocktails & a great selection of wines in a relaxed lounge setting unlike any other in Brisbane
150 pax maximum (cocktail style); 80 pax maximum seated.
Exclusive use available from 7pm everyday for groups of 60 or more
Perfect for drinks & nibbles, formal dinners & lunches, hens nights, corporate functions, engagements & birthdays
Dining Car
Quiet & intimate setting with the ambience of a traditional railway dining car, nestled between Platform Bar & Fihelly's Bar
50 pax maximum cocktail style; 30 pax maximum seated
Ideal for drinks/nibbles, formal dinners/lunches, corporate meetings, private gatherings & games nights
Fihelly's Bar
The heart of the hotel, with high ornate ceilings in a classic open plan main bar space
Live entertainment & theme nights, including "3 Amigos" Saturdays
150 pax maximum (nb: Fihelly's Bar is not available on Fridays for functions - sorry, it's just too popular!)
Being the "centre of attention" Fihelly's is just the spot for pub crawls, bucks parties, club gatherings & birthday parties.
Back Alley
Our quirky & unique little secret, adjacent to Platform Bar. Feel the "whoosh" as trains zip by on platform no.1, or turn the other way & look out across the beautiful setting of Anzac Square
