Her career so far is a story of dedication and drive. A Townsville girl at the age of 13, Anna taught herself the guitar and has played live gigs for over 7 years. The childhood dream she still carries with her is to play to her own sold out concert; this is the goal she works towards everyday.

Her music is an acoustic blend of folk and country, but Anna never misses an opportunity to rock out a little too. Her positive personality gives her a captivating aura when performing and she takes to the stage like a person born to be there.

Her career highlights so far include supporting music legends Colin Hay & James Reyne on their respective tours. She also performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and spent time in London recently playing a series of very well received gigs. Her bright future will see Anna's performance skills continue to grow with plans to travel through America and hit the Australian festival circuit.

FIRST DROP DINNER & MASTER CLASS

Matt Gant, Wine Maker and one half of the dynamic duo behind 'generation next' winery First Drop, will be heading north next month to host a dinner and Barossa Master Class in the Dining Room at Grand Central Hotel

The Master Class will focus on the Barossa sub-regions and feature First Drop's three 'Fat of the Land' Shiraz's, each of which hails from a different area in the Barossa Valley (Greenock, Seppeltsfield and Ebenezer).

The dinner will feature....well....steak of course! However the Chefs will also be whipping up an entree and a dessert.

While we're calling this a Master Class, don't be scared off by the term as we'll really just be having a good time, drinking some fantastic wine and learning a bit about it as we go.

Stiffler's Mum is a Brisbane-based covers band who specialise in great music, a few laughs and bad jokes. They've proven very popular with many of Brisbane's leading live music venues, and is a sought after act for corporate functions, Christmas parties, etc.

In addition to the Brisbane scene, Stiffler's Mum often travel the Pacific Highway to play on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, as well as heading West to Toowoomba and Charleville.

This is a band that entertains - they have fun when they're playing and it rubs off on the crowd. They put their own spin on some classic tunes without compromising the familiarity of the original song. In fact, so popular with crowds is their song selection, they've even had other cover bands covering their set lists!!

Matt “Dingah” Johnstone will pick up a guitar and start singing at anytime of the day or night. With a beer in one hand and a guitar in the other Dingah travels the world enchanting everyone he meets with the warm timbery tones of his voice and the relaxed conversational quality of his music. He has enjoyed everywhere from the Australian outback to a freezing Stockholm but was born in Brisbane and likes it the best. Influenced by everything from Country to Brit Pop, Rap to Sixties Rock, he delivers a wide range of music with originality and a heartfelt passion rarely seen.

Swedish singer/guitarist Mats Lideborg joins us during August. With his hypnotic vocal and Mats is a rising star in Sweden.

At 29 Mats has already proved himself as a major player on the European Acoustic acoustic circuit having secured residencies at some of Scandinavia’s most reputable music haunts. His repertoire ranges from Bob Marley to Britney Spears and include some wonderful original compositions which have received endless praise from music critics and fellow musicians
